Delicious homemade bread, made super simple. Just add your favourite brew! This garlic and herb mix creates an irresistible loaf of crusty bread, a great gift for aspiring bakers, or lovers of beer!

Good Things:

  • Each Barrett’s Ridge bag is packed by women from the Ukama Community Foundation. These women are unable to leave the house due to disabilities or family responsibilities.
  • Barrett's Ridge work with the Ukama Community Foundation to feed up to 400 children a day by delivering food parcels to the informal day cares and creches. They also help to run 10 soup kitchens that have been set up in various local communities
  • The bread mix comes in a calico bag hand sewn by South African charity Deaf Hands at Work

A perfect introduction to baking, simply add your favourite beer, cider, non-alcoholic beer or soda water, mix well and bake in a hot oven!

Barrett's Ridge is a proudly South African business that produce some of the world’s leading beer bread mixes.

Insider tip: to complement the garlic and herb flavours, Barrett's Ridge like to pair a Pilsner with this mix.
